Whoever you are, please send me some good news, something good that's happened to you recently, someone you saw do a kindness, a story you've heard. The news is so bad, I need and want to be reminded of the goodness there is still in the world.
Yes, the news has been dire, but I've experienced some bright spots.
Saw the photos of the wedding you officiated last week. Beautiful setting and bride. It looked like so much fun! And I loved your outfit.
Mundane but good: The carpet cleaner came today. We had a 1:00 appointment. He texted at 10:30 to say he could come at 12 noon if that was okay! We were tickled, an hour earlier = more time to let the carpet dry in the warmest part of the day. He was professional and pleasant and will come back Monday to take care of the tile.
Soul good: 1) The magic of the Internet allowed me to attend a webinar where my younger daughter was the presenter and has received rave reviews. 2) The Dodge Poetry Festival live streamed several presentations each of the four days the festival went on. I was able to hear poetry and craft talks from some of my favorite poets. Plus was introduced to others that I want to read more from. 3) Ellen Bass' Living Room Craft Talks start tomorrow. This workshop is my birthday gift from my daughters 4) Looking forward to a conversation with both daughters on Sunday! xoA <3
Ongoing good news: I am still married to the absolute best person in the world for whom I try to be better every day. Can't imagine being happier, but guessing it will nonetheless happen and, as always, she'll be the center of it!
